North Star Performance during the Annual Michaelmas Celebration
A project in conjunction with the Minnesota Waldorf School. James Brenner Sculpture and the 5th + 8th grade classes produced artwork in the form of stars. These stars took the form of five constellations, each defined by an open glowing star and the line of fire, cast during the North Star Performance Pour at the Annual Michaelmas Celebration.
Part of the Michaelmas Celebration and story included a sword and dragon that we casted in iron.

Minnesota Waldorf School- Michaelmas
In honor of the shooting stars and the iron they bring to earth, Minnesota Waldorf School will host an iron pour on Thursday, September 25th. Students have been working in this project for the last past weeks, this will culminate with the dramatic molten iron pouring in their molds.
Getting ready for the Franconia Pour
Franconia North Star Big Dipper Constellation Pour.
The North Star Pour is an alignment of myth, art and process. Eight stars will light up the night with molten metal. The stars represented will include the North Star and the Big Dipper asterism. A processional of torch carriers and star casters will simultaneously pour the stars and ignite a fire outlining the constellation.
The iron pour performance will take place briefly after dusk.
